The Poolboys have been coalescing since 1999—a conglomerate of various local jazz, blues and rock bands. John Aeillo is the chief songwriter with 18 originals (of 300 written) and musical director. Fred Swalef has his own one-man Jazz show for private corporate parties. Rhonda Vuletich is a local sax player (SaxGirl.com) and graces the stage with many acts all over the Space Coast. Walter and Scott simply networked the group together in 2007 and try to keep the atmosphere loose, yet orderly with Tuesday night practices at MTN Advertising.

It's all about fun, the right talents and the pleasure of making music. Everyone's already had their own personal and professional accolades—now it's all about playing music for audiences who enjoy a wide variety of genres. The Poolboys is a cross between Steely Dan, Dire Straits, The Beatles and Van Morrison. Expect anything from rock to jazz to country to reggae to jam music.
